Empire: Episode 3.16 Promo – Fetty Wap guest stars; Cookie’s plan

With Empire season 3 episode 16 airing on Fox next week, we will be seeing the continuance of another recent tradition — more guest stars! We’ve recently seen a wide array of interesting people on the show including Snoop Dogg, but Fetty Wap is going to be the latest name coming aboard the series next. He will be stopping by in the role of Trig — unlike Snoop, he’s not playing himself — and this marks his first scripted television role in this capacity.

Unfortunately, there is not too much more that we can say about the story coming up through the lens of Fetty Wap; luckily, there are some other interesting story develops to come. “Absent Child” is the name for this episode, and if you look below, you can secure a few more details as to what is coming up next.

Synopsis – “The Lyons fear that the Dubois family is to blame for their latest family crisis, so when no one is willing to give up any information, Cookie takes matters into her own hands. Jamal and Lucious reach a breakthrough in a song on which they have been working, and Andre lashes out. Meanwhile, Cookie sets her eyes on a new plan for Empire in Vegas.”

We’ve seen already this season that Cookie is looking to do everything that she can in order to ensure that she gets what she wants. Going to Vegas is for her, a major victory since it is something that she can put her own stamp on. It’s also a way to try to recover in the midst of the latest series of miscues revolving the Dubois family.

As for the collaboration between Jamal and Lucious, we’re mostly just surprised that this is happening at this point. Remember for a moment everything that these two have been through over the years, and the overall not-nice sentiment that we’ve seen from Lucious towards him. Given that they both have egos and both think that they are musical revelations, anything is possible over the course of this episode or the ones that are coming up after the fact.

Promo – How do you bring a child back, and is the Dubois child responsible? This is one of the big questions that this raises.
